Adrian Fuentes

UX/UI Designer

Adrian originally studied Industrial Design at the University School Design Center, as well as Graphic Design at ORT University in Montevideo, Uruguay. He complemented his design studies with IT at the Superior School of Informatics, also in Montevideo.

Rooted in a desire to see what he could create, he started his own design studio with some of his colleagues in 2011. Through this studio, Re-Robot, Adrian was able to provide branding, illustration, and graphic design services to his own clients. In 2015, he branched out into UI/UX design, for several projects for Santander and Pernod-Ricard.

At Timbergrove, Adrian is dedicated to designing solutions that truly solve client pains. His process involves gathering and evaluating user requirements, collaborating with both product managers and developers, and illustrating design concepts with storyboards, process flows, and sitemaps.

When he’s not designing, Adrian channels his innate curiosity to explore cooking for himself and producing music with his friends. On sunny days, you can find him channeling his inner feline and reading books in the sun.

Adrian’s advice for UX designers is to keep an open mind and not take things for granted. He recommends constantly working towards understanding the work developers do to materialize designs, in order to work more seamlessly with them.
